The Cinema Europa was one of the emblematic buildings of the district of Campo de Ourique in Lisbon .
It was inaugurated in the 1930s of the twentieth century, designed by architect Raul Martinez .
In 1958 a second draft was amended by the architect Antero Ferreira and its facade included a high-relief carving of the sculptor Cunha Vaz .
Integrates Inventory of modern Portuguese architecture of the Portuguese Institute of Architectural Heritage (IPPAR, now referred to as IGESPAR ).
Worked as a cinema until 1981 .
It was demolished in 2010 .
