Populations of Minho say they are discriminated against in TDT ( Portugal )

A set of 13 parishes of the municipalities of Viana do Castelo and Caminha are organizing to express its indignation with the fact that in 2012 having to bear more costs than the inhabitants of other parts of the country, with the end of analog signal television. The people in question are organizing a petition.

The cost of the kit  DTH will be 55 euros. In areas Freeview (where it is only necessary to buy a decoder box and only if the TV is not compatible with the new standards) prices start from 40 euros.

The group of parishes in the Minho, which will not receive TDT promises to take their protest to all media, including local government bodies, national and Portugal Telecom.
