Android too geek to pretty girls?!

The geek world is not sexist. We never crossed his mind to discriminate against the members of the opposite sex, because in these circles, the proportion of male members is much higher. And that is why we strongly condemns the statement too controversial of Mr. Frank Meehan, CEO of INQ. If you want to know more, follow the link and just as we feel offended! ;)

Natalie Thompson

So what Mr. Meehan said, a clear lack of tact towards (or rather AS) fans and Android smartphone users:
"If you go to a nightclub in any city in the world, the girl turns have an iPhone or a Blackberry. She does not have an Android. She has no emotional attachment to an Android phone. It is too complicated. It's a geek device, and all evil is done "

They may claim to want that Android is complicated, too fragmented, convoluted or something, but then to say that an Android phone is not for girls lovely!? DISAGREE. COMPLETELY.

We here at RD neutral despite our opinion these things mobile operating systems, we now say we are completely against this type of discrimination, and instead strongly support the efforts made by the brands to approach Android the terminals of the female audience. What else is not by chance that gives geeks could help turn a girl who is having difficulties with its new Android, is not it!? : P: D

Shame on you ... Mr. Meehan. shame on you.
SW, out! (I think ... are there to call someone who can not access the Market : D )

'Smartphones' are no longer the "El Dorado" of the manufacturers

mobile_iptv_smartphones

Sales grew 18% in the first quarter but this market segment is beginning to experience some slowdown.

Sales of 'smartphones' continue to grow but at a rate far lower than in the Portuguese market. In the first quarter, Portugal, sold 224,000 units, according to research firm IDC. The figure represents an increase of 18% but still well below that recorded in quarters of 2010, when sales came to grow above 70%. Moreover, today there are 'smartphones' to all tastes and wallets.

"Contrary to previous quarters and the rest of Europe the segment of 'smartphones' failed to keep growth rates above, which shows a clear decline in demand for these terminals," explains Jerome Francisco, responsible for European 'research' area IDC's mobile phones.

In Portugal, in the first quarter, Nokia was the leader with a market share of 35% and sales of 79,000 units, representing a 15% drop in sales compared to 2010. Louis Fish, "country manager" of the Nokia Portugal, believes that "every drop that will record in sales is merely conjectural." Samsung ranked second with sales of 33,000 units, growing 560% to 15% market share. Nuno Parreira, responsible for the telecommunications division, said the manufacturer did not foresee "any slowdown, as the Portuguese market has huge potential."

Apple's iPhone, which revolutionized the world of 'smartphones' does not yet have enough weight to be discriminated against in the IDC data for the market but the outlook is for growth

Cell Phone Dangers – Are you willing to risk cancer?

CellDangerIn today’s technology driven world, we rarely pause long enough to question the possible health risks associated with using modern communication devices. Almost everyone in the world today has a cell phone, in fact the statistics show there are currently over 4 billion cell phones in use today. That equates to 66% of all people have a cell phone or live with someone that does. Have you considered cell phones may be creating health hazards that may not show up for 20 years?

There are many studies showing strong correlations to cell phone usage and brain tumors! Cell phone dangers are not just isolated to brain tumors or cancer but actually can cause sleeping disorders, headaches and increased stress to the body. The disorders are caused by the radio frequencies emitted by the cell phone antennas. Cell phones transmit information to your local provider via microwave transmissions. These signals are absorbed by your body and is the basis for these health issues.

I don’t believe the worlds population should be exposed to this rather large scientific experiment! We are the proving ground for the industry to determine if there is really a health risk to using cell phones. Until there is conclusive evidence cell phone can be hazardous to our health, much of the world is just ignoring the evidence and pretending there is no risk.

There are some things we can do as consumers to help avoid the health risks of using cell phones.

  • Don’t use your cell phone for extended periods of time
  • Keep the phone 6″ from your ear
  • Use your land line for most of your calls
  • Use a headset, thus the phone is away from your body
  • Text more and talk less
  • Purchase a radio frequency shield for your phone

Children are more at risk than adults. They have brains that are more susceptible to these radio frequencies as their skulls are thinner and brains are smaller. This allows the radio frequencies to penetrate further into the brain.  Also, children will be exposed to the emissions from phones for a longer period of time as they are young and will be using cell phones for most of their lives.

Take charge of your health! Be aware of cell phone dangers and take precautions to prevent health issues in the future. Our store has devices which will eliminate or drastically decrease the effects of cell phone usage.Cell Phone Protection Devices here.

Mobile Power Station for iPhone

The iPhone is the best smartphone of today and has numerous accessories and applications. We can use the iPhone for many purposes, recreational and professional, that the battery life becomes a major limitation. Mainly for those who like to always be online.
Charge your phone is a daily habit for those who use the iPhone heavily, but sometimes the battery runs out even before the day ends. Anyone who has found himself to reduce the brightness of the screen or turn off 3G to save battery life, knows this problem.
For these most demanding users, like myself, the Mobile Power Station is a ball of oxygen that helps iPhone to breathe a few more hours.

This serves as an extra battery charger. First, we carry the Power Station, then walk with her and at the time that the iPhone battery fail, we are saved. By connecting the Power Station to the iPhone, it will be loaded as if connected to the charger. Naturally, the Power Station will lose its charge while the iPhone is gaining.
We usually use the iPhone during this process, using the energy of the Power Station. A full charge of the Power Station takes about 2 hours. You can charge the iPhone and the Power Station together with a normal charger, connecting it in series.
The Mobile Power Station will not have enough capacity to fully charge an iPhone, but to get an idea, to bind when the battery is at 20%, get back to more than 50%. Often this will be enough to keep the iPhone operating those extra hours to be back to its charger usual.
I no longer dismiss this accessory and I am now more inclined to use the iPhone without restrictions.
