The geek world is not sexist. We never crossed his mind to discriminate against the members of the opposite sex, because in these circles, the proportion of male members is much higher. So what Mr. Meehan said, a clear lack of tact towards (or rather AS) fans and Android smartphone users:

They may claim to want that Android is complicated, too fragmented, convoluted or something, but then to say that an Android phone is not for girls lovely!? DISAGREE. COMPLETELY.
We here at RD neutral despite our opinion these things mobile operating systems, we now say we are completely against this type of discrimination, and instead strongly support the efforts made by the brands to approach Android the terminals of the female audience. What else is not by chance that gives geeks could help turn a girl who is having difficulties with its new Android, is not it!?
